Since 15 August 2023 every nationality can apply for a Vietnam e-visa online, for up to 90 days, with one entry or many. The Immigration Department decides e-visas, not the embassies. The official pages our software could read do not list reasons for refusal, and an embassy may refuse without giving a reason. So these grounds rest on what the official pages say an application and a trip must meet. Vietnam publishes no rule on bank statements for an e-visa: the 3 months here is our own working default, not an official rule. The law on entry of foreigners (Law 47/2014/QH13, as changed in 2019 and 2023) lists cases where entry is not allowed in Article 21, but our software could not open an official copy of it, so nothing here quotes it.
